Sarah Ocasek is a Senior Consultant celebrating an over thirteen-year career in the health care industry. Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master's degree in Community Counseling. Sarah has spent her past professional career in the senior living industry in advancing leadership roles. Her passions are person-centered care and relationship building. Sarah began working with Achieve Accreditation in 2013.
Sarah’s first job after college was in a nursing home, so her later transition to consulting in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities felt familiar to her.
“I have always enjoyed working in the nursing home industry, guiding others, and interacting with people, so my role as an Achieve Accreditation consultant has truly been a very fulfilling experience both professionally and personally,” Sarah said.
Sarah’s role at Achieve Accreditation has also taught her the importance of building strong interpersonal relationships.
“The trusting relationships I built with my clients fosters their willingness to make time in their busy work schedules to meet with me about Joint Commission accreditation readiness initiatives,” Sarah said.
Sarah’s clients speak very highly of her strong contributions to their safety and quality improvement programs.

Achieve Accreditation Vice President Kristin Bratcher emphasized Sarah’s detail-oriented and thorough approach to her work.
“Sarah has strong relationship building skills and she is super supportive to her clients,” Kristin said. “Her outgoing and bubbly personality is a huge asset to our team and makes work more enjoyable for everyone around her.”
Outside of work, Sarah loves spending quality time with her family and friends. She is a fan of all genres of music and enjoys listening to live music whenever her schedule allows. One of Sarah’s bucket list items is to travel to another country. Sarah said the most important thing in her life is her family’s happiness.
Jessica Prucha, BAJ is the Operations Manager at Achieve Accreditation. Achieve Accreditation has helped skilled nursing providers and assisted living organizations to obtain and maintain their Joint Commission Accreditation for over 30 years.
